Arjin Dilek Öncel, a reporter for the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), is standing trial for allegedly “propagandizing for a terrorist organization”, due to a tweet she posted.
Facing 1 to 7.5 years in prison, Öncel was acquitted at the first hearing held on 8 Januar, 2020, by Diyarbakır 11th Heavy Penal Court.
