The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has fined Halk TV with 3-times program suspension on the grounds that Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Mehmet Tiryaki called imprisoned leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Abdullah Öcalan “Dear” on a program (July 6).
