The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has imposed a five-time program suspension and an administrative fine at the upper limit on Habertürk TV channel on the grounds that main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Mersin MP Ali Mahir Başarır said in a program titled “Gerçek Fikri Ne” (What is his/her real opinion), “The army of the state has been sold to Qatar” (December 2).
