MEDIA MONITORING DATABASE
RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

The right to be forgotten can be defined as the right of the individual to request the removal of the information, such as news, audio, photographs or video recordings, which have been legally spread, in relation to a past event.

Independent Communication Network, with its regular reports published since 2001, presents reliable and detailed data about violations of freedom of expression in Turkey. With mediamonitoringdatabase.org which we have launched in 2019 with similar concerns, we aim to create an information center through which cases/interventions against media institutions and employees can be monitored. In doing so, we respect the right of people to be forgotten.

Through the form below, you can tell us some, all, or the content you believe has wrong data within, which you would like us to remove. In the request for removal, only the corrections made by the primary persons mentioned in the interference will be taken into consideration.
