According to a news report published in Sözcü newspaper on December 16, Sözcü was fined 166 thousand lira and Korkusuz, another newspaper of the media group, was fined 373 thousand lira in January-November. The Press Advertisement Institution (BİK) also fined both newspapers by cutting their public ads for a period of 10 days each in December 2020 (December 16).
