A lawsuit was filed against the reporter for the shuttered DIHA news agency, Erdem Mühirci for allegedly “membership in a terrorist organisation” at the Second High Criminal Court in Van on the grounds that his name was mentioned on the documents that police captured in a shelter in Başkale province of Van. Mühirci, who has been in prison for 7 months, was released from prison at his first hearing on February 28, 2017.
