Mehmet Cengiz, the Chairperson of the Cengiz Holding’s Board of Directors, filed a lawsuit for damages against journalist Yılmaz Özdil for his column titled “I am announcing my candidate who certainly won” published on April 14, 2022.
Claiming that he was insulted and that his personal rights were damaged, Cengiz demanded 1 million Liras in damages (May 25).
