Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched against BirGün reporter İsmail Arı due to his book titled “Menzil’s Safe”, in which he describes the commercial relations and public organization of the Menzil Community. Kamil İnce, a member of the All Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜMSİAD), the business people’s association of the Menzil Community, who is featured in a chapter of the book, filed a criminal complaint against İsmail Arı. In his criminal complaint, İnce requested that the book be collected and destroyed and that Arı be sentenced (June 12th).
