The İstanbul 12th Criminal Judgeship of Peace rejected the appeal against the İstanbul 11th Criminal Judgeship of Peace’s access block to 168 links of news regarding the access block imposed on 564 news reports about the allocation of buildings and lands to Medipol University. The appeal was lodged by the P24 Platform for Independent Journalism, under the roof of which the Speak Up (Susma in Tr.) Platform, one of these 168 news websites, is operating. As the reason for the rejection, the Judgeship said that “the ruling was proper and there was no need to make a change.” The Speak Up Platform has announced that it will take the rejection to the Constitutional Court (June 10).
