The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has imposed an administrative fine on KRT TV on the grounds that the guests of the “Şimdiki Zaman” (Present Time) program, in their remarks about the firefighting efforts, targeted Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli and the government in such a way that the related remarks included insults and went beyond the limits of criticism (August 11).
