The Directorate General of Security Foreign Relations Department sent a file of profiling classified “top secret” to the Provincial Directorates of Security of Ağrı, Ankara, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Giresun, İstanbul, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kocaeli, Sivas and Trabzon. The file was based on the intelligence collected in relation to the Fethullah Gülen Community. It turned out that the Directorate General of Security profiled 20 journalists, including Journalists’ Union of Turkey (TGS) Chair Gökhan Durmuş and Dicle Fırat Journalists’ Association (DFG) Co-Chair Dicle Müftüoğlu (September 5).
