Konya Public Prosecutor Şahsuvar prepared an indictment about Yıldız Fırat Can Arslan and Dilan Babat. The prosecutor charged the journalists with marking counterterrorism officials as targets according to article 6/1 of the Turkish Criminal Code (February 22).
Konya 2nd Heavy Penal Court accepted the indictment, prepared a preliminary proceedings report, and scheduled a hearing for May 25, 2023 (March 2).
The court ruled that there was no case of “exposing and targeting public officials” and acquitted Babat and Arslan (October 5).
