Decision to block access

Access to Medyaradar.com news site was blocked following a complaint filed by Turkuvaz Media Group, citing the news article titled “Turkuvaz Media Group’s Youtube channels were stolen.” According to a statement released by Medyaradar, the relevant news article was removed from the website on June 27. Despite this, access to the website was blocked by a decision of the İstanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace. After the appellate court rejected the objection to the access block, the website resumed its website at medyaradar.com instead of www.medyaradar.com. Turkuvaz Medya once again objected to the new address, and the new address was also blocked by the İstanbul 6th Criminal Court of First Instance on 13 September. The news site continues to be online at medyaradar.net (September 13th).
