X Corporation filed an individual application before the Constitutional Court against the order of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) to block 126 accounts, including those of journalists Metin Cihan, Hayko Bağdat, Erk Acarer, and the news outlet Artı Gerçek.
In a statement issued the following day, the company declared: “X is committed to protecting the free expression rights of our users around the world and we will continue to use all available legal avenues to defend our users’ right to freedom of expression.”
