Journalist Metin Yoksu was also targeted in the Artvin investigation reportedly conducted on allegations of “organization” activities. On 13 June, his home was raided by police, but he was not detained as he was not at home. On 26 June, Yoksu voluntarily went to the Batman Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to give a statement, but was referred to court with a request for arrest and was subsequently detained.
In the same investigation, journalists Eylem Emel Yılmaz, Ozan Cırık and Dicle Baştürk had already been arrested earlier.
