Journalist Alican Uludağ, who reported on torture allegations at a gendarmerie station in Reyhanlı, Hatay on June 26, received a threatening message on June 29, reportedly sent from the United States. The sender identified himself as “Beyto Can Çelik,” stating the message came from a group called “C31K.” The message said: “It’s impossible you haven’t heard of the C31K group; if you haven’t, you’ll be in trouble soon. We will torture you like at the gendarmerie station.”
