Journalist Aziz Özden was attacked by relatives of accident victims on 25 October 2025 while trying to film a traffic accident in Efeler, Aydın. He was assaulted along with Abdurrahman Fırat, Uğur Eser, and Yusuf Konrat—four journalists in total. Özden filed a complaint with the Efeler Police Department after receiving a medical report.
