Journalist Aslı Aydıntaşbaş was summoned to testify as part of the investigation into Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. However, she was abroad at the time and therefore not brought in for questioning. The investigation involves allegations of “publicly disseminating false information” and “aiding a criminal organization.”
Other journalists questioned as part of the investigation include Soner Yalçın, Şaban Sevinç, Ruşen Çakır, Yavuz Oğhan, and Batuhan Çolak.
