A report by BirGün newspaper about Assoc. Prof. Yasin Çetin, who was involved in the process of annulling Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu’s university diploma, was blocked from access in Turkey on the grounds of “national security and public order.” The article alleged that Çetin had affiliations with TÜGVA and political ties. The Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD) shared the court order with the public.
