Sarp Özer, senior reporter of Anadolu Agency (AA), was wounded while following the “Operation of the Olive Branch” conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces in cooperation with the Free Syrian Army in the Afrin region of Syria (2 February 2018).
According to AA, Ozer’s hand and leg were hit by shrapnel consequent to the rocket and mortar thrown into the area.
After the first medical treatment he was transferred to a hospital.
