Decision to block access

The Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) blocked access to Instagram on August 2. In a statement made by BTK, it was stated that the social media platform was closed due to “not complying with the catalogue crimes” (code of criminal procedure  5271) (August 2nd).

Instagram was made accessible on August 10th at 21:30 (August 10th).
