On the grounds that the contents of their news reports were similar to those cited in the decisions of the Ankara 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated January 23 and May 15, the Union of Access Providers has imposed an access block on the news published on BBC Türkçe, Gazete Duvar and Oda TV news websites on December 16, 2019 regarding the allegations that a domestic worker from Nepal was subjected to torture at the house where she was working. According to Engelli Web, the access block dated November 26 has been imposed on the grounds of “personal rights” (November 26).
