On the grounds that they were similar to the news content that faced access blocks by the Antalya 3rd Criminal Judgeship of Peace on July 12, the Access Providers Union has imposed an access block on 61 online news reports about entrepreneur Fettah Tamince on Cumhuriyet, Halk TV and Gazete Duvar news websites. The related news reports alleged that Tamince was the “political wing of the FETÖ” and he was benefiting from various privileges at tenders in spite of this (August 12).

The decision to block access to news about businessman Fettah Tamince on Gazete Duvar, BirGün and Cumhuriyet websites was lifted following the Constitutional Court’s decision that freedom of expression was violated (February 21st).
