The news reports dated 2011 about the allegations of torture and sexual abuse of children held in Adana Pozantı Juvenile Prison were blocked to access by the Ankara Batı 2nd Criminal Judgeship of Peace on November 23, 2022 upon the request of the then 2nd Director of the Prison.
The judgeship accepted the request of the then director by arguing that the related news meeting the criteria of reality and accuracy at the time “no longer had any significance” and “being remembered in the future had nothing to contribute to public good” (November 23).
