The Second Criminal Court of First Instance in İstanbul sentenced daily Cumhuriyet officials for 50000 Turkish Liras of fines for they did properly retract the article concerning Şeref Doğan whose name has mentioned in the Panama Papers in order. On January 30, 2018, the pronouncement of the judgement has been deferred by the court.
