Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) evaluated the comments made by anchorperson Fatih Portakal about the coronavirus agenda in the news bulletins published on FOX TV on the days, March 30, 31 and April 1, 2020. RTÜK ruled that Portakal had incited the society to hatred and hostility.

Considering that the statements as they have damaged the unity and togetherness of the society, RTÜK decided to impose administrative fines on the upper limit to the FOX TV and broadcast suspension for three times (15 April).
