The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) imposed a 3-percent administrative fine on Fox TV on the grounds of Workers’ Party of Turkey (TİP) İstanbul MP Sera Kadıgil’s remarks on İlker Karagöz ile Çalar Saat program, where she had referred to President Erdoğan’s remarks about the economy by saying, “He would be ashamed of uttering this sentence if he went to the bazaar even once” (December 21).
