The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) imposed three different fines on Medya Mahallesi (Media Neighborhood) program broadcast by Halk TV. The Council suspended the broadcast of the program three times and imposed a 3-percent fine on the grounds of “praising terror with gestures”. The RTÜK imposed 3-percent fines on two other episodes of the same program (December 21).
