According to a statement released by the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) on June 29, 2022, an administrative fine on the upper limit has been imposed on Halk TV on the grounds that the guests of “Kadraj ve Mesele” (Frame and Issue) program violated the provision of “media services … shall not be contrary to human dignity and the principle of respect to privacy, shall not include disgracing, degrading or defamatory expressions against persons or organizations beyond the limits of criticism” (June 29).
