The Press Advertising Authority has issued a 5 day advertisement ban against Sözcü Daily Newspaper due to the headline of the newspaper’s issue on 24 June 2015 which was covering the high cost of the iftar dinner held at the Presidential Palace. Upon the appeal of the decision, Supreme Court of Appeals have reversed the judgement and underlined that politician’s should be more tolerant to criticism.
