Batuhan Çolak, editor-in-chief of the Aykılı site, was detained on September 20 on charges of “inciting the public to hatred and hostility or humiliating” (TCK Article 216) and “publicly disseminating misleading information” (TCK 217/A) in publications aimed at refugees, and was arrested three days later. Sent to Sincan No. 2 L Type Prison (20-23 September)

Çolak was released upon the objection of his lawyers to the detention (27 October).
