In the Dersim-based operation, Yeni Demokrasi Newspaper reporters Ertan Çıta and Yaprak Kurban were detained on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization”. The people whose reasons for detention could not be learned were taken to Tunceli Police Department. Within the scope of the operation, three people, apart from the journalists, were detained in Dersim and one person was detained in Istanbul (October 3).
Çıta was arrested by the court on 5 October (5 October).
