Journalist Levent Gültekin was attacked by a group of 25 people in front of Halk TV office in İstanbul.
In a message on Twitter, he said, “I was subjected to the attack of a group of 25 thugs in front of the channel; I am fine now, I will tell [what happened] in the program soon” (March 8).
At the hearing held at the Bakırköy Courthouse in İstanbul on April 3, the court board ruled that two people who attacked Levent Gültekin and were arrested pending trial should be released. The next hearing will be held in September 2021 (April 3).
