Barış Pehlivan was sentenced to 5 months of imprisonment for not applying court verdict ordering the removal of comments that are allegedly insulting Fetullah Gülen. The pronouncement of the judgement was deferred.

After Pehlivan was sentenced by another file for “insulting the President” 18 Assize Criminal Court announced the verdict of 5 months of imprisonment, refering that the journalist committed an intentional crime amid his probation.
