Canadian journalist Neil Hauer was denied entry to Turkey on the grounds that he was subject to a travel ban, and was deported by plane to Yerevan, Armenia, from where he had arrived. Before the deportation, Hauer was held for 16 hours at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
