Van Prosecution Office launched an investigation against journalist Oktay Candemir due to a news article entitled “Inadequate quarantine measures taken by the District of Çaldıran” for allegedly threatening with the intention of causing fear and panic among the public. Two separate investigations are launched against journalist due to his article entitled “The young man laid off after a security investigation and could not find a new job, commits suicide” and his social media post in relation to Ministry of Interior Süleyman Soylu’s resignation.
