Applying to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on February 11, 2022, the lawyers of the AKP, MHP and BBP filed separate criminal complaints against journalist Ayşenur Arslan over the remarks she uttered about the Turkish Resistance Organization (TMT) during her program “Medya Mahallesi” (Media Neighborhood) on Halk TV, demanding her penalization for “degrading the Turkish nation, the State of the Republic of Turkey, the institutions and bodies of the state” (February 11).
