The Diyarbakır Bar Association has filed a criminal complaint against Emin Çölaşan on March 1, 2017 on the grounds that an article about the flag of the Kurdish Regional Government and the leader Mesut Barzani, published on February 28, 2017 in daily Sözcü is “inciting the public to hatred and enmity”.
