In September 2017, Hakkari Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office upheld the dismissal of charges of “knowingly and willingly aiding an armed terrorist organization” in the investigation launched against Yüksekovahaber correspondent Erkan Çapraz regarding the video entitled “Yüksekova raised Police in the schools” (Yüksekova okullarda polis yetiştiriyor).
