Journalist İnci Hekimoğlu was detained from her home in İzmir. Hekimoğlu was taken to the Counterterrorism Branch of the İzmir Provincial Security Directorate. Released after her statement was completed at the police station, Hekimoğlu was charged with “propagandizing for a terrorist organization” over 4 social media posts that she shared between 2014-15 (June 16).
