AFP photojournalist Bülent Kılıç was battered and detained at the beginning of the protest held against the detention of workers who have worked in the construction of the third airport in Istanbul on September 15, 2018. Having been handcuffing behind his back on the police bus, Kılıç was detained for two hours at the Iskele Station. He was released after an official report prepared stating that “He was left where he was taken.”
