As part of an investigation conducted by the Malatya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on charge of “being a member of an organization”, Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reporter Emrullah Acar’s house in Urfa province was raided in the morning hours on November 19, 2021. Following the search at his house, Acar was detained.
During the raid, Acar’s computer and camera were seized (November 19).
The detention period of Emrullah Acar was extended for 4 days (November 23).
Acar was released on probation by the court he was referred to (November 24).
