The chief editor for Kızıl Bayrak Magazine Ersin Özdemir was taken into custody while covering the protest of a solidarity group for families of inmates and detainees held in Galatasaray Squire, Beyoğlu Istanbul on January 13, 2018. Being accused of “resisting the police”, he was released after giving his statement to the police.
