The Kaktüs Young Women’s Association in Kadıköy was raided by special operations police officers on the night of November 17, 2022. Of the ones at the association to organize an event on the occasion of upcoming November 25, Etkin News Agency (ETHA) reporter Elif Bayburt was detained. Taken to the Kadıköy District Security Directorate after the procedures at the hospital, Bayburt, along with 10 other women, was released (November 17).
