On his way to Ankara, TV presenter Metin Uca was detained at İstanbul Airport for “inciting the public to hostility and hatred” (as per the Article 216 of the Turkish Penal Code – TCK). Released after giving his statement, Uca shared a message on his social media account and said that he was detained upon a tip-off about his theater play called “Did I mean this” (February 2).
