Managing Editor of Diken news website Fatih Gökhan Diler was taken into custody on October 10.
It was revealed that he was detained as a part of the investigation launched within the scope of the charge of “Provoking the Public to Hatred, Hostility” due to a report about the statement of spokesperson of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) published via Diken.
Diler was first taken to the İstanbul Security Directorate on Vatan Avenue. He has then referred to the Prosecutor’s Office afterward. Diler has been released with an international travel ban by the court.
