Nurcan Kaya, a writer for Artı Gerçek news portal, for whom an arrest warrant has been issued due to her social media posts, was detained at Istanbul Airport on the morning of October 27 with the decision of the 1st Criminal Court of Peace on the grounds of “Provoking the Public to Hatred, Hostility or Degrading”. Kaya was released after giving her deposition on the same day (27 October).
