Tele 1 TV foreign news editor Çağlar Tekin was taken into custody at the courthouse where he went for a hearing on November 10, 2020. On his Twitter account, Tekin said that he was detained over a news report which had been first published, then removed by the Anadolu Agency (AA) regarding the use of Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) vehicles by ISIS militants in Syria. Tekin was released from detention on the same day after giving his statement (November 10).
