Progressive Journalists Association (ÇGD) Bursa Vice Chair and Bursa Muhalif website’s managing director Ozan Kaplanoğlu was taken into custody while covering the march attempted to be held by the Bursa Democracy Forces in support of Boğaziçi University students. ÇGD Bursa Branch announced that Kaplanoğlu was subjected to police attack while he had his camera in his hand. Taken into custody along with Ozan Kaplanoğlu, Nur Derya and Gökay Küpeli were released together with Kaplanoğlu in the evening of February 14, 2021 (February 12-14).
