The HDP Van Provincial Organization, Tevgera Jinên Azad (Free Women’s Movement – TJA), DBP Van Provincial Organization, Peace Mothers and several people gathered in front of the HDP Edremit District Office in Van to protest the Turkish Armed Forces’ (TAF) airstrikes. Covering the protest, Yeni Yaşam newspaper’s reporter Şakir Bedir was battered and detained by the police. Bedir was released after giving his statement at the police department (November 21).
